Why two seemingly identical tasks are priced differently

  • Number of fields and checksA single phone number is easy to validate. Adding quantity, a product variant or a delivery branch turns the short form into a small checkout.
  • Where exactly the button appearsPlacing it only on the product card is quick. The category list, the cart and the comparison page add more places, each tested on different screens.

Task
Sell sweets, snacks and gift sets with delivery across Ukraine: a catalog with filters by type and occasion, a cart with delivery options, online payment. A particular focus is the speed of the mobile version, because in this niche most orders are impulse purchases made from a phone.
Solution
A store on OpenCart 3.x (octemplates/OCT theme, HTTP/2). 5 online payment methods are connected — LiqPay, WayForPay, Privat24, Visa, Mastercard — and 4 delivery methods: Nova Poshta, Ukrposhta, pickup, courier. Free delivery to a Nova Poshta branch for orders from 2,500 UAH is implemented (a banner on the home page), plus contact via Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook.
Result
As of 31 July 2026 the store is up (HTTP 200, HTTPS): the first server response takes 403 ms, full HTML load 532 ms; LiqPay, WayForPay and Privat24 online payment, Visa/Mastercard cards and 4 delivery methods are connected; the home page shows free Nova Poshta delivery for orders from 2,500 UAH.

Most frequently asked questions — with concrete answers

Does this replace the regular checkout?

No, and it should not. It is a second path for those who do not want to fill in a form or have questions. Buyers who are ready to pay on their own must keep that option — otherwise you trade finished orders for inquiries that still have to be processed.

How many fields should the form have?

As many as your manager needs to call back. Most often that is a phone number, sometimes plus a name. Every extra field reduces the number of requests, so we agree on the set with the person who processes them rather than going by a general rule.

Do you guarantee more orders?

No. The feature gives a short path to those who already wanted to buy, but it does not create demand. Besides, its benefit depends on how fast requests are processed: a request handled a day later hurts your reputation more than having no such form at all. We set up separate analytics events so you see the real picture instead of taking our word for it.

What happens if the buyer clicks the button twice?

Nothing extra happens: duplicate protection is part of the work. Without it the manager receives the same request several times, because the person was not sure whether it went through. That is why a clear confirmation after sending matters more than it seems.

How long does it take?

6 to 14 working days. Most of the time goes not into the form itself but into handing the request over to the CRM and testing the behavior when something fails. We name the exact timeline after the review.

What if we do not have a CRM?

Then requests can come by email or to Telegram — a workable option for a small volume of requests. The main thing is that their source is visible: which page and which product the inquiry came from, otherwise the manager starts the conversation blind.

Can the button be shown only for some products?

Yes. That is often the right call: for made-to-order items or items whose configuration has to be agreed, a short request makes sense, while for a simple in-stock product it is better to lead the buyer into the regular checkout, where they pay on their own.

Who owns the result?

You. Property rights to the code pass to the client after full payment, and the result is handed over under an acceptance act. Together with the code we hand over instructions for the manager.
