A construction company website: the client is looking for proof that you have built this before

In construction the cost of a mistake is high, and the client knows it. So they come to the site not for fine words but for proof: what you have already done, what the project looked like before and after, how long it took and what happens if something goes wrong. A site with attractive stock photos loses here to a simple page with twenty real projects. That is the kind we build — around the portfolio and a clear work process.

Who it's for

Situations where this service delivers results

Scenario 1 of 4

A company with an established portfolio

The projects are done and the photos exist, but they sit in phones and chats. The main work here is not design but organizing all this into a structure where each project tells its own story.

We'll review your situation in a free audit
What's included

Complete list of work and what you get as a result

  • a portfolio of projects with photos, scope of work, timeline and location
  • before-and-after photos where you have them — the strongest proof in this niche
  • service line pages explaining what exactly they include and what they do not
  • the work process from the site visit for measurements to project handover
  • a preliminary estimate calculator, if it is appropriate in your niche
  • a request for a site visit and measurements linked to a service line
  • documents and permits, if you are ready to show them
  • local business markup: address, opening hours and phone number as data
  • handover with a description of how to add new projects to the portfolio
When this service isn't right

What's not included — so there are no surprises at delivery

  • architectural and engineering design, and cost estimating
  • photographing projects
  • promises of construction timelines or work costs on our behalf
  • promises of search positions or the number of orders
  • writing copy about construction methods without your review

A free review of your task

We look at what decides things in this niche: whether there is proof of completed work, whether the collaboration process is clear and whether you are visible nearby.

What we measure

  1. How many real projects can be shownThis is the key figure of the project. Twenty of your own projects with photos are worth more than any text about experience.
  2. Whether there are before-and-after photosIn renovation and reconstruction this is the strongest proof. If there are no such photos, it is worth starting to take them on current projects.
  3. Whether the service lines are separatedThe client is looking for something specific: roofing, a facade, turnkey renovation. A single catch-all list of services makes them guess.
  4. Whether the work process is describedWhat happens after a request, when the contract is signed, how the work is accepted. Uncertainty here is the main reason for doubt.
  5. What your local visibility is likeWe check the address, opening hours and local business markup — the same things we measured on sites in this niche.
  6. Whether a calculator is appropriateFor standard work with clear units it helps. For complex projects it gives a misleading figure — and we will say when it is better not to build one.

What you get

  • a list of what drives trust in the niche, with the reasons explained
  • a proposed structure for the portfolio and service lines
  • an estimate of the work broken down by stage
  • an honest answer on whether you need a new site

Timeline: 2–4 working days

Why is it free

A site with ten projects and a site with a hundred jobs across several service lines differ in scope several times over. Without a review, any figure would be guesswork.

What's next

You receive the list and the estimate. The decision is yours — the document stays with you.

Terms fixed in writing8 points
  • Contract, act and 30-day warranty

Every project gets a written contract: scope, deadlines, amount, acceptance procedure. After delivery — act and invoice, then 30 calendar days of warranty.

  • Sole proprietor & bank transfer

The contractor is a registered sole proprietor. Payment by invoice with closing documents.

  • Rights & access — yours

Code, design and materials transfer to you after full payment. Domain, hosting, repository and analytics are registered to you.

  • Client portal instead of email chains

During the project you get access to a portal: contracts, invoices, acts and project status in one place.

  • Sites in nine countries

Our sites run in nine countries: besides Ukraine — Poland, Germany, Austria, England, Norway, Bulgaria, Moldova and Spain.

  • Verifiable numbers

Every case in the portfolio comes with a link to a live site and a technical measurement.

  • Audit first, then pricing

There is no price list on the site intentionally: the scope of the same work differs multiples between clients.

  • We say "no" when unsure

If the task isn't ours or the deadline is unrealistic — we tell you upfront.

What affects the price

Why two seemingly identical tasks are priced differently

  • Size of the portfolioTen projects make a simple gallery. A hundred jobs with filters by type and district mean structure, content management and image optimization.
  • Number of service linesOne service line takes a few pages. Facades, roofing, interior work and building from scratch mean a separate description for each, not one generic text.
  • Whether a calculator is neededSimple work with units of measurement is easy to calculate. Complex projects need so many clarifications that a calculator stops being useful.
  • Condition of the photosIf the photos vary in quality and come from different phones, they need tidying. This is a noticeable part of the work that is usually underestimated.
  • Readiness of descriptionsA project without a description of the scope of work and timeline is just a photo. Collecting this data for each job is up to your side, and it is often the bottleneck.
  • Geography of workWorking across several cities or districts changes the structure: separate pages are needed, not a mention of regions in the contacts.
Process steps

Transparent stages with approval at every step

Total duration:20–55 days

  1. Reviewing the task

    2–4 working days

We count how many projects can be shown and look at the state of the photos and how the service lines are separated. The result is a site structure and an estimate.

  2. Portfolio structure

    3–7 working days

We design the project card: photos, scope of work, timeline, location. We define the filters and how projects are linked to service lines.

  3. Building the site

    10–28 working days

We build the homepage, service line pages, the portfolio with prepared images and the work process. We work in a test environment.

  4. Requests and calculator

    3–10 working days

We connect a site-visit request linked to a service line and, if it is appropriate, a preliminary estimate calculator with an honest caveat about its accuracy.

  5. Local visibility

    1–3 working days

We add local business markup with the address, hours and phone number, and check the data against the company's profile on maps.

  6. Launch and handover

    1–3 working days

We roll out the site, check the first requests and hand over instructions for adding projects. After that the 30-day warranty applies from the date the acceptance act is signed.

A site built around the portfolio versus a site built around advantages

How this option differs from the alternative

A site with a list of advantagesOur approach
What convincesclaims about quality and experiencecompleted projects with photos and scope of work
What the client can checkhas to take your word for itcan examine a similar project
Work on your sidehardly any neededphotos and descriptions of work need to be collected
Entry points from searchmostly the homepageservice line and project pages
Launch speedfast, and that is fine as a temporary optionlonger, because the portfolio has to be collected

Tasks and results in numbers — all metrics measured by us

a sample of 8 Ukrainian websites in the “construction company” niche

Task
Find out what state the sites in the construction company niche are actually in, rather than what their owners say: the technical base, measurement and site size.
Solution
An external measurement with no access to anyone's admin panels: time to first response as the median of several measurements, the catalog from the sitemap with duplicate URLs removed, counters in the homepage HTML, the PHP version from the headers, hreflang, TLS, robots.txt and the canonical URL.
Result
Measured on 17 September 2026: 8 Ukrainian websites in the “construction company” niche were checked. 8 of 8 have no local business markup; 3 of 8 have no breadcrumb markup; 2 of 8 have no structured data; 2 of 8 have no canonical URL on the homepage. Median first response time: 245.3 ms; median sitemap size: 297 URLs.
What we need from you

We can't start without this — best to prepare in advance

  1. a list of service lines and what exactly each includes
  2. completed projects with photos, scope of work and timelines
  3. how you work with clients: from request to handover
  4. whether there are documents or permits worth showing
  5. which cities and districts you work in
  6. who on your side accepts the work
If something is missing — let us know, we'll help you gather it or do it as a separate task.
FAQ

Most frequently asked questions — with concrete answers

What if we have almost no portfolio?

Show what you have, honestly and in detail: ten projects with a description of the scope of work are better than forty anonymous photos from the internet. Other people's photos are recognized quickly in this niche, and trust does not recover after that. If you have few projects, it is worth starting to photograph current work in parallel, including the process.

Do we need a cost calculator?

Only where it can give an honest figure. For standard work with clear units — square meters, linear meters — it works. For complex projects a calculator produces a number that later does not match the cost estimate, and that damages the relationship before work even starts. We do not build one “just to have it.”

Do you guarantee orders from the site?

No. The site helps the client make sure you have done similar work and understand how you work. But the decision depends on price, recommendations and a personal meeting — especially in this niche. Promising a number of requests would be dishonest.

Should we state the cost of work?

A range per unit where possible, yes: the client wants to understand the order of magnitude before calling. No reasonable contractor names an exact price without inspecting the site, and the website should explain this plainly rather than hide behind “price on request” without a word about why.

What should we show about how we work?

What happens after a request, when and for what the contract is signed, how stages are accepted, what the warranty covers. This is the cheapest way to remove the niche's main fear — that the contractor will take the money and disappear. An honest description of your actual practice, without embellishment, is enough.

How long does development take?

20 to 55 working days. The longest part is usually not on our side: collecting photos and descriptions for each project. So we advise starting that collection right after the review, in parallel with work on the site.

Our photos are from phones and vary in quality — is that a problem?

Not a problem, but they need tidying: cropping, straightening and bringing them to a consistent look. Real phone photos are more convincing than studio shots of other people's projects, so they are worth using once prepared.

Who owns the site after the work?

You do. The property rights to the code, design and materials pass to the client after full payment, and the result is handed over under an acceptance act. The domain, hosting and analytics are registered in your name from the very start.

  • We work under a contract

There is no price list on the site on purpose: the same work differs several times over between two clients, and a “from” figure explains nothing in that case. First a free audit — we count your pages, duplicates and speed — then we name the sum and the deadline and fix both in the contract.
